    If you are outside the US and wish to order from Heart and Seoul, please read the following:

PayPal does not give the option of charging the correct shipping amount for International orders and rates have increased significantly.  When you place your order, you will be charged $15 for shipping ($13 for Canada), which is based on a Global Priority Flat Rate Envelope or Global Priority Flat Rate Small Box. If your order does not fit in one of those shipping containers, we will have to bill you separately for additional charges.  Rates start at $20 for a medium box and $36 for a large box, based on destination.  We do not accept personal checks, money orders, or any other form of payment for international orders. 

 

Before reading our Shipping FAQ's, please read these important notes regarding shipping:

  • Please check the ordering page for the product you ordered for specific shipping estimates.  The delivery times for custom orders from Korea has increased significantly.  Additionally, further delays may happen if we are not able to meet our minimum order requirement.  Please keep this in mind when placing your order.  Thank you for your patience.

 

  • We normally hold all items until everything is in stock and ready to ship.  If you would like separate shipments, please let us know.  We will try our best to ship your items separately without adding any shipping costs to your order, but please understand that separate orders may affect your shipping cost. 

 

  • If you think your order is taking too long and you haven't heard from us, please email us immediately!  It is likely that we have been trying to reach you, too.  Unless you contact us otherwise, the only address we have is the one connected to your PayPal account, so please check it frequently after placing your order. 

 

  • Heart and Seoul will NEVER add you to a mailing list unless you specifically ask us to.  Nor do we sell, lease, loan, or give your information to any third party.  Your email address is safe with us so PLEASE (yes, I'm begging!) make sure we have an accurate email address from you when you place your order.  It is the ONLY way we have of contacting you.  Please also include your phone number on your order form when placing your order.  Heart and Seoul will never use your phone number for any purpose other than to contact you regarding your order.

 

  • If you would like to join our mailing list, here's the link to join.  We send an update no more than once per month and often have special offers exclusive to mailing list customers.

FAQs

How do you ship and when can I expect my order?

Most orders are shipped by Priority Mail so that you receive your order as quickly as possible.  However, some of our suppliers who ship small items ship by 1st Class.  Most orders are shipped within 2-5 business days of being placed unless otherwise noted on the product information page (personalized items, announcements, custom jewelry orders, out of stock items, etc.).  If you need your order by a certain date, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
 

How much are shipping charges?

Priority shipping/handling charges for the US are as follows:

  • up to $9.99=$6

  • $10 to $49=$8

  • $50-$199=$12

    •

  • $200 and up=$15
     

Why is the amount I'm charged for shipping different than what the post office charged?

We have tried to keep our shipping/handling charges as close to the actual charges as possible, but due to limitations with Pay Pal's shopping cart service, this is the best we've been able to come up with.  If you feel that you are paying too much in shipping charges, PLEASE don't let that stop you from ordering!  Just email me first with your order, address, and PayPal email address, and I'd be happy to bill you with exact shipping charges.  It is not our goal to make money on shipping.  We just haven't come up with a better solution using PayPal yet. :-)
 

Are there any other shipping options available?

Express Shipping-If you need your order super-fast, we do offer Express Shipping (1-2 days, depending on location).  However, you MUST contact me PRIOR to placing your order.  Please email us with your order, your address, the email address you use for PayPal, and the date by which you need your order.  We will send you a bill through PayPal.  Once we receive your payment, we will get it out to you ASAP.  Express Shipping charges start at $18.
 

I paid by echeck.  When will my order be shipped?

PayPal will not allow us to print your shipping label until your echeck clears.  Therefore, please allow 5 additional business days when paying by echeck.
 

Can I pay by personal check or money order?

Yes!  Just email us with your order and zip code.  We will promptly reply with your total and address to send your check.
 

PayPal says my address is "unconfirmed." What does this mean and how will it affect my order?

 An unconfirmed address usually means that the billing address differs from the shipping address.  If you are having your order shipped to your place of work or it is a gift order, your address will be listed as "unconfirmed."  Heart and Seoul requires a valid email address and a home phone number on orders with unconfirmed addresses for our own protection.  We will email you after receiving your order asking for this information.  Please note that we will NOT store your phone number after your order is processed.  This is just an extra safety measure and an additional way for us to reach you in case there is a problem with your order. 
 

        PayPal says my account is "unverified." What does this mean and how will it effect my order?

        This just means that you are new to PayPal and it will not effect your order unless you are an international customer.
